This July 28-29, 2017, Twiddle’s festival Tumble Down will be returning for its second year at Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT!  The beautiful  venue overlooks the water with plenty of soft green grass to sink your toes into while you are soothed by the breeze and the lovely tunes of Twiddle, Holly Bowling, Aqueous and more.

Vermont is the home state of Twiddle (along with famous jam band Phish), and it’s exciting to see festivals taking place in this beautiful area.  The festival does not allow camping, so be sure to reserve a hotel room nearby in Burlington.  Gates open at 3PM, so there’s plenty of time to explore the city, grab some lunch, then hit the ground running.  You are not allowed to bring outside alcohol or coolers, but there will be beer and food for sale inside the venue.  You are asked to also not bring any glass, pets, or blankets.

Besides 2 sets of Twiddle each day, there are plenty of feel-good bands both established and up and coming on the lineup.  Friday has more of a folk feel to the lineup, with bands like Fruition and Midnight North, piano virtuoso Holly Bowling, and some lesser known bands like Navy Train and The Mangroves. Saturday is all about the jam, with rising band Aqueous who will no doubt be bringing the heat, Teddy Midnight, Lucid, Strange Machines, and a band that I am personally most excited about, Madaila.  Madaila is a song-driven band with soulful falsetto vocals and a dance-able electro-pop sound that you won’t want to miss.

Each night there will be two choices for your late night excursions at either Higher Ground Ballroom or Nectar’s.  Friday night at Higher Ground, you can see Everyone Orchestra feat. members of Twiddle, Fruition, Midnight North, and Holly Bowling at 10:30PM.  At Club Metronome, above Nectar’s, you can see Lespecial & Pitchblak Brass Band at 11PM.  Saturday Mihali & Friends will be playing at 10:30PM at Higher Ground, and Gang of Thieves and Backup Planet will be playing Nectar’s at 11PM.   All late night tickets are sold separately, save money and buy pre-sale!

You can buy tickets now, go ahead and plan your trip and tumble on down to Tumble Down the end of this July.
