Greensky Bluegrass Announce 26 date Winter Tour, Wrap 2016 in Style

2017 Kicks Off With Tour Highlighting Midwest & East Coast, Two-Night Asheville Run Supports Umphrey’s McGee

For Greensky Bluegrass, following up the banner year that 2016 has been is no easy task. Yet 2017 kicks off with a bang, with four multi-night stands highlighting a criss-crossing Eastern US tour, appropriately kicking off in the birthplace of rock n’ roll in Cleveland at the House of Blues January 11. Bluegrass will rip the roof off six new venues throughout tours stops all around the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast.

Winter tour follows the late Fall culmination of a banner year featuring: home-state holiday weekend celebrations with Thanksgiving & New Year’s Eve multiple night stands, three-night Denver run, an international excursion to Mexico at Strings & Sol and the final week to the band’s fall country-crossing tour following this week in Phoenix, Las Vegas two-night stand for Halloween, and Los Angeles with its triumphant tour-ending debut at The Warfield in San Francisco.

The band’s brand new release Shouted, Written Down & Quoted, produced by Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), debuted at #5 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and garnering rave reviews. While in NYC recently, the band performed live on Sirius XM’s Jam_ON featuring several songs & defying conventions by performing The Beatles’ ‘A Day in the Life’ on The Howard Stern Wrap Up show in tribute to Howard’s ‘Revolver’ anniversary celebration. SWDQ is available now on vinyl, CD, iTunes.com and all streaming platforms.

Winter Tour Fan Club tickets are available starting Wednesday, October 26 at www.GreenskyBluegrass.com/tour. Public on sale for all dates begin Friday, October 28.
