Billy Strings will be bringing his bluegrass virtuoso guitar playing to The Met in Philadelphia for two nights this coming weekend. Strings is one of the hottest touring acts around today, and his band consists of some of the greatest young bluegrass musicians to grace the stage:

Billy Strings (Guitar/Vocals)

Billy Failing (Banjo/Vocals)

Jarrod Walker (Mandolin/Vocals)

Royal Masat (Bass/Vocals)

Alex Hargreaves (Fiddle)

Billy Strings has transformed today’s bluegrass and has brought it back to the mainstream. In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Strings talked about how his lifelong dream was to become a bluegrass player. On November 18th, he will release an album that is very special, playing some bluegrass standards with his Dad (“Me and Dad”).

If Billy Strings is a glimpse of the future of music, we are in good hands. Be sure to check out his new record coming out next week.
