Summer is in full swing and that means all of the hottest bands are out on the road bringing the good vibes to a venue near you! This Thursday marks the 4th of July! How will you celebrate!? No plans? No Problem! Here’s what’s up this week.

Calling all moe. fans! Moe.down is here at last!  Pack your bags get your booty over to Snow Ridge Ski Resort in Turin, NY for a weekend full of camping, live music, and all kinds of other shenanigans.  Enjoy several different sets from moe. all weekend long, but don’t forget to check out Drive by Truckers, Spafford, God Street Wine, Cory Wong, Everyone Orchestra, moePods, Floodwood, Max Creek and the several other magnificent bands that will be on-site.  All of the typical festival amenities will be available, including ATMs, a medical tent, family-camping, as well as food and craft vendors.  Tickets for the entire weekend are currently on sale for $190, with prices increasing to $210 the day of the event.  On-site parking will also cost an additional $25 per vehicle, however, camping is included in your ticket price.  Visit to learn more and scoop up your tickets.

Another great festival is happening this weekend at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, OH.  Get ready for one of the most anticipated NLQP events of the year, Grateful Fest 2019.  Although this is the most popular event of the season, The Ledges always provide a nice, homey, “small festival” vibe, where you’ll see the same friendly faces all weekend long.  Tickets for the weekend will only set you back $80 if you purchase in advance, or $90 if you’d like to pay at the gate when you arrive (cash only).  Artists scheduled to perform include Into the Blue, John Welton and The Awakening, Zuffalo, The JiMiller Band, Wanyama, Terrapin Moon, Blue Moon Soup, and Bob Niederriter Trio. Make sure not to have too much too fast! A legendary fireworks display over the quarry will take place Friday night, and you won’t want to miss it! Head over to to grab ticket, check out pictures of the venue, and get a sneak peek at the rest of the events going on throughout the summer.

The Great Blue Heron Music Festival returns to The Heron in western New York this Friday through Sunday for their 28th annual weekend of music, dancing, camping, and creating memories.  This festival has much more to offer than just the music and good vibes. Enrich yourself at the healing arts workshops, burn some calories on the hiking and biking trails, join in on the songwriting circles, and generate some appreciation at the Earth Stewardship Tent. Bands scheduled to perform include: The Wailers, Donna the Buffalo, 10,000 Maniacs, The Gunpoets, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, The Town Pants, The Probables, Mosaic Foundation and many more talented groups.  There will be over 35 bands playing across three stages, so make sure to check out the schedule of acts in order to catch all of your favorite bands.  Weekend passes for the events are selling for $115, with the gate price costing an additional $15.  The parking/camping situation is rather complicated, however, there are options available for pretty much every type of experience. Visit to learn more about camping and parking, check out the schedule of artists, and purchase your tickets.
