Tumble Down returns to Waterfront Park in Burlington, Vermont this weekend, part of the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival. Come hang out with Twiddle and other great musicians like Matisyahu, Billy Strings, Broccoli Samurai, West End Blend and Everyone Orchestra this Friday and Saturday. Gates open at 3 p.m. daily, with opening acts playing from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at which point Twiddle takes the stage. No camping on-site, so if you’re coming from out of town make sure to figure out your own lodging situation beforehand. Glass, pets, blankets and coolers are all prohibited. Two-day passes will be $65 at the gate; single-day passes are $42. Children under 12 enter for free. Also at Waterfront Park that weekend will be Phil Lesh & the Terrapin Family Band (Thursday night, 6:00p.m.) and WEEN (Sunday night, 6:00pm). The 38th annual Gathering at Chaffee’s will be held this weekend in Girard, PA. Performing acts include The Werks, Perpetual Groove, Chestnut Grove, Mungion, ekoostik hookah, Mosaic Foundation and many more. Last call general admission tickets will only set you back $80, a small price to pay to see so many great musicians and artists. Parking and camping is included with the purchase of a GA ticket. Kids under 12 enter for free, and can enjoy a kid specific drum workshop Saturday afternoon. Feel free to bring your canine companions, just be aware that they must be leashed and watched after at all times.
Get your tickets to The Private Party this weekend, held in the Laurel Highlands of Gibbon Glade, PA. Break out of the routine and enjoy some of the region’s most spectacular natural scenery, as well as some awesome music, art, and culture. Scheduled musicians for the weekend include Jakob Ferry’s Stragglers, Brokedown Hustlers, The Probables, The Haywhacker Band, The Dirty Grass players, and more. The number of tickets available is very limited, so get yours before they run out. Two-day passes are set a just $50, with camping included. Kids under 18 may enter for free.
