John Kadlecik is no stranger to Gypsy Sally’s in his hometown of DC – regularly doing multiple night runs at the K street venue. Gypsy Sally’s is the perfect, intimate venue to experience the music of John Kadlecik – as it is owned and ran by enthusiastic Deadheads.  So the owners of the venue get just as excited to host the Grateful Dead alumni, we are even more excited than usual for the shows this week – Nov 21, 23, and 24.

For those unfamiliar with John Kadlecik, he is a DC native who has played guitar with The Grateful Dead, and plays Grateful Dead tribute music in an extremely skilled and captivating experience.  He is skilled at most string instruments and playing improvisationally, and has been touring nationally for the past 20 years.

This Thanksgiving run will be “John K & Pals” featuring Jay Lane (drums), Robin Sylvester (bass), Benjie Porecki (keyboards), Jessica Lake (vocals) and Mary Lankford (vocals). Each night has something a little bit special!
