Happy Halloween, Readers! This week is filled with spooky-themed events and concerts to go to. Whether your dressing up as your favorite musician, movie character, or vegetable, make sure to boogie down at some of these great concerts that are hopefully nearby you! Here is what’s up this week.

The Shindig returns to beautiful historic downtown Clayton, North Carolina for an evening of craft beer and live Americana/Bluegrass music.  Having no money isn’t an excuse this weekend, with admission to the events being free!  Hang out with like-minded people from 12-9pm this Saturday, with tunes provided by Scythian, Yarn, John Stickley Trio, Dangermuffin, Fireside Collective and other great acts as well.  Learn more at www.theshindig.net.

Imbibe, Virginia’s premier touring craft beer & arts festival is back at it again this weekend at the Virginia Beach Field House, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This events incorporates elements from the performing, visual, and culinary arts in order to highlight the close relationship between these three fields.  This event is 21+ with no exception, so make sure to hire a babysitter. Admission to the event will set you back $45, which is a small price to pay.   Hang out at the Game Zone for Grown Folks, grab a bite to eat at the Open-Air Food Market, and buy some souvenirs at the Artisan Market. Interested in how to brew your own batch of beer? Make sure to stop by the BrewU Craft Beer Education Stage for demos, workshops, panels and tastings.  Learn more at https://www.imbibeva.com.
