It’s no surprise the bill is stacked with lots of Asheville acts. As a city whose talent is poised to surpass Nashville’s music scene; this festival showcases the best of best. The crew of festival directors’ aim and vision is to give love back to the community that took openly took them in.

While the headliner is still under wraps until May 26th- Shiner’s can anticipate rocking to Americana blues rocker Malcolm Holcombe and Plate Full O’ Blues. Greensboro, NC natives the Mantras will be spreading their psychedelic rock vibes throughout the mountain.

Asheville based funk rockers the Fritz are billed, as well as improv jazz maestros Johnathan Scales Fourchestra. Local favorites and nationally touring act, The Get Right band, are Soulshine newcomers and are surely not to be missed. Genre defying 6 piece psychobilly rockers Dr. Bacon are back to bring the ruckus.

It’s not a true music festival without traces of the Grateful Dead- and Soulshine will satisfy your sunshine daydreams with Florida based bluegrass- infused Grass Is Dead. Bill and Company is also performing, focusing on the Jerry Garcia Band classics. Phuncle Sam is on the bill, busting out spot on covers of various Grateful Dead and Dead inspired tunes.

Come Back Alice and Applebutter Express return to the farm festival this year, and all night barn party animals the Screaming Js will get you boogying for their fourth year in a row. Bring your party pants for that one.

Asheville singer/ songwriter Kendra Warren will be performing gorgeous mountain melodies, and house picker Chase Holliday will be performing on an off the stage with his self-taught stank grass skills.
