Gypsy Sally’s is pleased to present an evening with CNBC correspondent, musician and Grateful Dead fanatic, Steve Liesman along with his band, The Mooncussers on April 24th. This will be a free show in our Vinyl Lounge.
The Mooncussers go on at 11pm and will kick off their set while Everyone Orchestra plays in the main music room at Gypsy Sally’s. This could turn into a stellar jam session with top-notch artists from String Cheese Incident, Railroad Earth and Leftover Salmon, who will play with Everyone Orchestra that same night.

Liesman is also a member of Stella Blue’s Band, a Grateful Dead tribute band who will play various after-parties during The Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary run in Chicago this summer.

Liesman has played with Bob Weir (The Grateful Dead) and Jason Crosby (various projects with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, Doobie Decibel System, Brother’s Keeper). Crosby will also play the “Dear, Jerry: Celebrating the Life of Jerry Garcia” event at Merriweather Post Pavilion on May 14. Gypsy Sally’s has Moonalice, Doobie Decibel System and Brother’s Keeper (Crosby projects) booked for May 17.
