(Richmond, VA) Friday September 12, 2014 – RAW Richmond hosts an event at The Hippodrome Theatre showcasing independent artists in its fourth show of the 2014 Season – Thursday, September 25th, 2014.
RAW: natural born artists is an international organization for artists, by artists, that hosts eclectic monthly art showcases in more than 60 major cities across the country, and growing. Throughout the night guests will experience a vast amount of skillful artists that will showcase their talent for an amazing one-night event. This is not your typical white wall gallery. The handpicked artists will include local visual art, film, fashion, music, hair, makeup, photography and performing art. The event ensures that the audience will get a little taste of everything.

RAW’s mission as an organization is to provide a platform for local independent and emerging artists in all genres, to network and connect with one another, gain more exposure, and find a new audience. Artists that sell their work at the event receive 100% of the proceeds.

Entertainment includes live music by IMAG, Marlee in the Mixx, and Guesthouse as well as live performances and film features by Hondo and Jess Soumphontphakdy.

We will also have pop-up boutiques and fashion shows featuring designs by Grateful Gypsy, Unique Cr8ations, Sirius Jewelry, Strike Daekins Designs and Venus Visuals. Make up features by Iconic Cosmetics and L.Payne MUA.

Pop-Up Art Gallery and Photography will be featuring Malena Magnolia, Allison Eve, Sam Shaban, Reina Art, Natural_istic, Helena Magusson Ogburn, Sean Weiss, James Ross, Saadia, Chau Nquyen, Marc E Craven, cutanddestroy, Tommy Mitchell, Morgan Barbour, Loma Photography, Dew Photography VA, and Zenzile.

Advanced tickets are $15 and can be purchased through an artist to support their place in the show at http://rawartists.org/richmond/scope . Tickets go up to $20 at the door. Doors for the 21+ event open at 7 pm for Press and guests are encouraged to dress in fashionable attire.
