DelFest 2025

Seventeen years ago there was a vision by Del McCoury to bring bluegrass music to Cumberland, Maryland. This is when DelFest was born.  Fast forward to present day and Del has curated a magical four day festival that is like no other.

When you enter the gates of The Allegheny Fairgrounds you’re automatically captivated by the community and the vibe. When everyone is smiling and grinning, you know this will be a Memorial Day weekend filled with magic. The music may be the focus of the weekend but the family run festival also has a KidsZone, where “little festers” can enjoy arts and crafts during the festivities. If you’re a fan of the water, grab a tube and take a journey down The Potomac River.

Every year, Del brings some legends as well as upcoming artists into the mix for the four day extravaganza. Thursday will kick off with the opening ceremonies with a “soundcheck” set by Del McCoury Band along with The Wood Brothers, Sister Sadie and Dan Tyminski Band.

The next three days include performances by Grammy award winner, Sierra Ferrell, The Travelin’ McCourys, Railroad Earth, Clay Street Unit, Larkin Poe, and many more.

If you’re a night owl you’ll have an opportunity to let the good times roll right until the wee hours of the morning. The following acts are slated for the DelFest “Late Night” Series:

Thursday:

Kitchen Dwellers

Larry Keel Experience
