New York, NY (January 8th, 2019) — TAUK announces their Let It Ride, Pt. 2 Spring Tour today, and shares a free download of their new live compilation “Real TAUK, Vol 1.” on Nugs.net.

2018 saw TAUK release their most adventurous, emotionally expansive work to date. An early-2018 EP, Shapeshifter I: Construct was followed by a full album Shapeshifter II: Outbreak.  The new album picks up where its predecessor’s narrative thread left off, and broadens the band’s sonic palette to include a vast spectrum of synth sounds and programmed effects. The band took the new songs out on the road in the fall and released nearly every show via their partnership with Nugs.net for sale and streaming through the Nugs subscription platform.
Now, coming off of a New Years run which saw them open for The Motet in Albany, NY, Umphrey’s McGee in Atlanta, and play to their largest headline crowds to date in Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD, the band will celebrate the announcement of their 2019 spring tour with a compilation of their favorite performances from this past fall. The release is free on the Nugs platform, and available for sale and streaming at all major digital music services.
TAUK’s Let It Ride tour is comprised of 2 parts. Part 1 takes the band through the Northeast with stops in January and February in Maine, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.  Part 2 will start back up in the spring with a month’s worth of dates in April and May. The second leg of the tour will take the band through Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Florida, Ohio and wrap up in Pittsburgh, PA.  Already confirmed for the summer are a support slot at the world famous Red Rocks opening for Lettuce, and at the already sold out Electric Forest festival.

Tickets for all new shows go on sale this Friday, January 11th at 11 am, ET
