Athens, GA – On the heels of an extensive Southeastern tour this spring, metamorphic rockers Universal Sigh return to the road this month traveling to Colorado and more. The band’s Summer Tour features many notable club shows including a performance with fellow Georgia funk outfit Voodoo Visionary in Denver, the Sigh’s second appearance at the famed Belly Up in Aspen, the band’s Texas debut and a return to Aisle 5 in Atlanta for an official Sigh In July Music & Arts Festival pre-party. 
Additionally, Universal Sigh will perform at a variety of music festivals including Music On The Mesa in New Mexico, Alphapalooza in Tennessee, Omnia Collecta in Alabama and AthFest in the band’s hometown of Athens, GA. 
Finally, Universal Sigh will host their own music festival! The 3rd Annual Sigh In July Music & Arts Festival will take place on July 21st & 22nd at Live Wire Athens. Early-bird 2-day passes are on-sale now for only $10! 
Universal Sigh is a high energy, metamorphic rock show. Hailing from Athens, GA the foursome features a two-guitar attack and driving rhythm section, producingversatile music which reflects a deep fondness for artists such as Radiohead, Snarky Puppy, and Umphrey’s McGee. Influenced by a myriad of musical styles, the quartet has crafted a diverse catalog, which includes both lyrical tunes and instrumental arrangements. Each song is a voyage, with harmonious melodies soaring through epic peaks and dramatic descents into electrifying funk grooves.
