Communion Clubnights returns in October with an incredible new lineup and we’re excited to announce our expansion into Kansas City! Every month Communion Clubnights brings together the best and most unique up-and-coming bands and local talent for a one of a kind night of discovery. We are ready to keep this month going strong by kicking it off with exciting new artists like Field Report, Water Liars and Quiet Life. Check out the full lineup’s for all cities and get pre-sale tickets at www.communionmusic.com

American folk band Field Report spent two years roaming the country playing everything from small venues to sold-out amphitheaters, and will now bring their talent to all of the Communion Clubnights this October. The band’s name is an anagram of lead singer/songwriter Chris Porterfield, and were culled together in the studio while recording their 2012 self-titled debut.  Field Report suddenly found themselves championed by their former idols, they were offered support tours by Counting Crows and Aimee Mann, lauded by the likes of Mark Eitzel and Richard Thompson, and covered by Blind Boys Of Alabama.

Known for captivating audiences with their incredible live shows, Water Liars, comprised of Justin Kinkel-Schuster and Andrew Bryant, will be joined by GR Robinson on bass for the second half of Communion Clubnights. Fresh off the success of their new albumWyoming and a reissue of their debut album Phantom Limb, Water Liars will fill every room with their punk aesthetic and stratospheric sound this October. This band is definitely one to watch!

We couldn’t be happier to bring these inspiring artists to you! It’s been one year since we launched Clubnights in the US, and we’re glad to have such a fantastic community of artists and listeners in our family. With a year of tours under our belt — we still feel the best is yet to come and we’ll be back next month with another round of specially curated shows. Stay tuned!

Thanks for your support and we can’t wait to see you at the shows!
